Trip Overview
The name Seti which means white in Nepali is given to it for the deposition of minerals like chalk and lime carried by the river. Seti River is fed by the Annapurna Himal range and holy Mt. Machhapauchhare high in the Himalayas and flows down with great force. One can have a fairly short trip in the Seti River while paddling down with sensational rapids from Damauli, a 2hours drive from Pokhara to Gaighat for about 35 kilometers covering overnight at the beach and experience all the delights and thrills of whitewater rafting. Seti passes through the scenic areas offering a dramatically changed topography and landscapes with the chance to admire local villages of ethnic groups, terraced paddy and wheat fields, and a stunning view of Annapurna and Mt. Manaslu. Our expertise, accumulated over years of white water rafting will give you the most rewarding and fun-filled rafting experience you will ever have. This Seti river rafting can be an idyllic trip for those who are interested in bird watching and want to enjoy the awe-inspiring natural beauties alongside the river.
