Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Flight Kathmandu (1,300m) to Lhasa (3,650m):

Fly to Lhasa crossing over the highest Himalayan ranges of the world (1 Hr.), Transfer, and check in to your hotel. Full rest for acclimatization – Hotel.

Day 2 : In Lhasa:

Two full-day sightseeing tours of Lhasa including Jokhang temple, Barkhor bazaar, Potala palace, Sera & Drepung monasteries, etc. – Hotel.

Day 3 : In Lhasa

Two full-day sightseeing tours of Lhasa including Jokhang temple, Barkhor bazaar, Potala palace, Sera & Drepung monasteries, etc. – Hotel.

Day 4 : Lhasa – Xigatse via Gyantse.

Drive to Shigatse via Gyantse and Yamdroktso. Enroute visit Yamdroktso and Phalkhor and Khumbub stupa in Gyantse. Drive to Shigatse. O/N at hotel.

Day 5 : Shigatse – Ronbuk via Shegar.

Enjoy the scenic drive to Xegar; take some rest and drive further via the bumpy road to Runbok. This trip seems a little bit tiring, though the beautiful scenery makes you forget the pain. O/N at Guest house

Day 6 : Hike to EBC;

The day early in the morning, you will hike to Everest base camp. It is a couple of hours hiking; Explore around and drive back to Shegar. You may use horsecraft if you cannot walk to the base camp. O/N at Guest house. [If time permits, drive to Shigatse]

Day 7 : Shigatse – Lhasa (341 KM)

Visit Tashilomphu Monastery; Explore around Shigatse and drive back to Lhasa. O/N at Hotel.

Day 8 : Drive to the Airport and Flight to Kathmandu or own destination

Drive to the Airport and fly to Kathmandu or your destination.

You will stay in a three-star hotel and we assure you that you receive quality service throughout your stay. Single supplement will be served on request and will cost an additional USD 50.
Please make sure you take travel insurance at home before arriving here. It is mandatory and you cannot take it in Nepal. Your insurance agent will know which insurance plan suits your travel.
It is advisable that you free up a few days before and after your trip schedule. For reasons beyond our control like flight delays, accidents and natural hazards, the itinerary may have to be altered.

Please consult your doctor beforehand for any precautions you need to take and always carry medicines if you need them.
