Trip Overview
Bungee Jumping is an outdoor wild sport activity that has emerged over the past fifteen years, it represents a challenge for all thrill seekers. It involves a person jumping from a high place, usually several hundred feet off the ground. He/she is attached with an elastic rope normally at the feet, the other end of the rope is connected to where the person is jumping from. Nepal’s only bungee jumping site is situated 160m above the wild Bhote Kosi river, it has been running for nine years with no mishaps and is located close to the Nepal-Tibet border, a three-hour bus ride from Kathmandu. The jump, at 160m, was designed by one of New Zealand’s leading bungee consultants, it is operated by some of the most experienced jump masters in the business.
The Bridge
Swiss-designed, especially for bungee jumping with a 4x safety factor. The bridge has a loading factor of 250kg per running meter. The bridge will hold 250 x 166 = 41,500kg or 4.5 tons. Over 6000 meters of steel wire is used to build the longest suspension bridge in Nepal. The bridge joins two sides of a great valley. Before its construction, locals walked five hours to cross this river gorge.

- In case of heavy wind & rainfall during the monsoon season, the activity will be stopped for the time being, and then the activity will resume after the weather improves.
- Clients must be above 18 years old, or parent’s consent is required.
- The minimum weight for Bungee is 40 kg, and the maximum is 98 kg.

Trip Itinerary
At 07:00 am, you will be picked up from your Hotel in Kathmandu. Then Drive via the Arniko (Kathmandu-Lhasa) Highway to Bungee jump sport in Last Resort which is East-North side of Kathmandu approximately100km and takes 3 hours to drive by private vehicle (car/van).
After a thrilling jump from the remarkable 500ft (160m) dropping into the Bhoti Koshi River gorge, then have Lunch in Resort and drive back to Kathmandu.
