Trip Overview
Mera Peak is the highest trekking peak in Nepal located in Everest Region dominating the watershed of the thickly wooded and remote Hinku valley. Summit to this peak offers outstanding panoramic views of Mt. Everest (8,848m), Cho-Oyu (8,201m), Lhotse (8,516m), Makalu (8,463m), Kangchenjunga (8,586m), Nuptse (7,855m), Chamlang (7,319m). This trip provides a great opportunity for those who dream and desire to stand on the summit with great achievement and memorable experience. Climbing Mera Peak is a little difficult and is a physically demanding snow trek with straightforward climbing. The path moves through the perfect rhododendron, silver fir, oak forest, etc. On the way, you can see Mera Glacier and a striking alpine lake. The trek will provide you with the typical Sherpa society of the Solukhumbu which will be a daydream experience. Mera Peak also has some crevasses all around, and the path can be challenging.
