Paragliding in this Himalayan country can be a truly wonderful and fulfilling experience for adventure seekers. You can experience unparalleled scenic grandeur as you share airspace with Himalayan griffin vultures, eagles, and kites while floating over villages, monasteries, temples, lakes, and jungles, with fantastic views of the Himalayas.

The starting point for these flights is Sarangkot (1592m), which offers prime views of Phewa Tal(Lake) and the mountains at sunrise and sunset, landing beside Phewa Lake. No previous experience is required as qualified pilots provide a short briefing before launching.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Drive Kathmandu to pokhara by Tourist Bus –7 hours and overnight at Hotel

Day 2: Early Morning Drive to Sarangkot(1590m)by private vehicle and join to paragliding flight

From Pokhara, Lakeside you will drive less than 25 minutes to Reach the top of Sarangkot Hill. The purpose for coming to this hilltop is to dive off its cliff with a parachute. You will float above the hill for a while during the flight before your final descent to the Phewa Lake just below the hill. From here, you can see the spectacular Annapurna Mountain range and Mount Fishtail on the North side. You will experience 45 minutes of thrill in one of the best paragliding locations in the world. After paragliding, you will transfer to the Pokhara Bus stand and drive back to Kathmandu or your destination.
