Trip Overview
Kathmandu
Kathmandu provides a close glimpse of Nepal. It not only showcases the rich culture of the Nepalese people but also takes you back in time through its architectural marvels. The tour takes you to four places: Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, Bauddhanath, and Swayambhunath temples that hold religious and cultural importance to the Nepalese people as world heritage sites.
Gorkha
Gorkha Durbar is a picturesque hill station steeped in ancient history and the capital of the last Shah monarchs of Nepal. The capital of Nepal was shifted to Kathmandu after King Prithvi Narayan Shah unified the Kingdom of Nepal during the eighteenth century. But this beautiful township has always remained the center of attraction for many Nepalese as well as foreign visitors. The main attraction is a famous ancient temple- Baba Goraknath, the temple of Goddess Gorakhkali, the world-renowned Gorkha royal palace, Marvelous views of mountains-Manaslu, Annapurna range, and Mt. Langtang. It is located midway between Kathmandu and Pokhara.
Bandipur
Bandipur is a picturesque town nestled in the Himalayan foothills of Nepal, a land as famous for its natural beauty as for the hospitality of its people. Bandipur lies midway between Kathmandu’s capital and Pokhara, another popular tourist destination.
Bandipur is an outpost of the refined civilization of the Valley, and it is an ideal retreat to soak in this fabulous heritage along with the natural splendor of the surroundings. With its varied attractions ranging from the artistic to the scenic, Bandipur entices visitors of all interests to come and discover Caves, temples, forts, local markets, and fruit farming.
Pokhara
Pokhara’s enchantment is the three serene lakes of Phewa, Rupa, and Begnas as well as the world peace stupa, other shrines, temples, caves, and Sarangkot viewpoint. The natural beauty of Pokhara in midwestern Nepal is simply bewitching. Forming the backdrop are the spectacular Mountains with the magnificent fish-tailed Machhapuchhre dominating the scene.
