Trip Overview
The Everest 3 High Pass trek is one of the Challenging and Strenuous treks in the Khumbu (Everest) region in Nepal. some of the best adventure passes during the trek such as Renjo La Pass (5338m), Chola-La Pass (5368m), and Khangma- La pass (5535m). You should have physical fitness and experience of doing some trekking. friendly Sherpa people, picturesque villages, a great variety of culture and traditions, colorful festivals, and monasteries are the main attractions of this trek. Besides this, the flora and fauna are other ornaments of the Sagarmatha National Park. The three-pass trekking is continuously rewarded with dramatic Himalayan scenes, including four of the world’s eight highest peaks; Cho Oyu (8,201m), Makalu (8,463m), Lhotse (8,516 m) and Everest (8,848m) and other mountains. This is known as the Everest circuit trek. We ascend to Thame and pass through Renjo-la. At the pass, a great view of the Gokyo Lakes on one side, the Rermo Pokhari Lakes on the other side, and numerous snowy peaks are in the background, which provide an incredible atmosphere. Renjo la Pass provides a lifetime memory of panoramic views of Everest and other Himalayan ranges. then the trail descends following to the Gokyo valley and an excursion to the fourth and fifth lakes would be an extra attraction. The Ngozumpa Glacier is the largest in the Nepal Himalayas. The Gokyo Ri (5330m/17487 feet) is considered the best viewpoint in the entire Everest Region. After exploring this imaging place, we cross over the Chola-La pass (5368m) to visit Kalapather (5545m, close view of Everest) and Everest base camp (5364m, Khumbu icefall).after khangma- La pass (5535m) descends to Dingbouche. Then we descend making our way back down to Lukla.
Unpleasant weather conditions, congested traffic in the Airport, unmanaged runway, topographical difficulties, etc. are the significant reasons for flight delays/cancellations in mountain airports such as Lukla, Jomsom, Simikot, Talcha, Juphal, Tumlingtar, Phaplu. So, if you intend on trekking to Everest, Dolpo, Annapurna, Kanchenjunga, Makalu, etc; arranging an additional one or two days in your trip is highly more suitable. This will help in case of flight delay/cancellation and thus board on the pre-planned international flight.
